Defense Information School (DINFOS)
For my Advanced Individual Training (AIT) I attended DINFOS on Fort Meade, Maryland. There took two classes on Photography and Video Production totaling 9 months. During our classes we took trips to the surrounding DC, Maryland, and Virginia area to practice what we learned in the classroom. During these trips and other events I met so many great people and had made many great memories. My first two classes were just the base of my knowledge though as I hope to go back soon for more advanced courses and training.
Other Classes I’ve Taken

IPC educates photographers and journalists in established communication theories and provides training in current best practices of photojournalism, so that graduates will be effective multi-platform communicators for their commands.

IMMC provided the intermediate knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties required for visual information production assignments supporting video documentation of training and operations, public affairs, joint operations, and studio missions throughout the Armed Forces.

VIM is an intermediate level course that provides in-depth training in the duties required to implement and manage the organizational visual information program.

DMC provided intermediate-level graphic design and multimedia knowledge and skills to fulfill the duties of a multidisciplinary assignment in public affairs and communication in support of commander's intent while incorporating appropriate themes and messages.
Arizona State University (ASU)
Currently I am in my second year of obtaining my Bachelor's degree in mass communications. My goal of getting my degree is to expand my understanding of all things that are involved in the process of creating and distributing media. Throughout my time here I have learned things from the basics of creating and publishing media to the complex nature of popular culture. In addition to my major I am minoring in organizational leadership. In the side bar, under the school tab, you can find some of the projects I have done for my classes.
